Verbs allow us to talk about actions, events, and states. They give life to our conversations. Today, we will learn some common verbs and their conjugations in the present tense.
Repeat after me as we go through each verb and its conjugation.
Verb 1: Ser (To Be)
Yo soy.
Translation: I am.Repeat: Yo soy.
Tú eres.
Translation: You are.Repeat: Tú eres.
Él/Ella/Usted es.
Translation: He/She/You (formal) is.Repeat: Él/Ella/Usted es.
Nosotros/Nosotras somos.
Translation: We are.Repeat: Nosotros/Nosotras somos.
Vosotros/Vosotras sois.
Translation: You all are.Repeat: Vosotros/Vosotras sois.
Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes son.
