The imperfect subjunctive is formed by taking the third-person plural form of the verb in the preterite tense, removing the -ron ending, and adding the corresponding subjunctive endings. Let's see the conjugation of regular verbs in the imperfect subjunctive:
- Yo: -ra
- Tú: -ras
- Él/Ella/Usted: -ra
- Nosotros/Nosotras: -ramos
- Vosotros/Vosotras: -rais
- Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes: -ran
Let's see some examples:
Si tuviera más tiempo, viajaría por todo el mundo.
If I had more time, I would travel around the world.
